After the Wedding: Chrissie & Aaron

I've had a fantastic time working with Chrissie and Aaron and was thrilled that they wanted to do a post-wedding session! We went all over Fremont and Gasworks and got lots of stares, honks and congratulations in the process...I suppose most people don't walk around town in a wedding dress on a weeknight! We weren't sure how much trashing of Chrissie's gorgeous dress we were going to engage in, but Chrissie said she tends to live in the moment and was open to possibilities :) By the end of the evening Chrissie's dress was had a striking black border around the edges and was heavy with water! It was well worth it because we got beautiful images and the dress should be good as new after a trip to the dry cleaner.

Sara & Luke's Trash the Dress (well, kind of...)

I had a blast shooting Sara and Luke's wedding last month and we go some great images in the rain (a few posts back). We also met up for a post-wedding shoot at the Olympic Sculpture Park to take some photos with a fun, sexy and dramatic flair. We didn't 'trash' Sara's gorgeous dress, but we did have her climbing rocks, rolling in the grass and getting in the cold water...so it definitely needs to be sent to the dry cleaners asap ;) I love this new trend in wedding photography because we get a chance to do more risque and fun stuff than we're often able to on the wedding day. If you're interested in this kind of photoshoot contact me for more information. We took a LOT of pictures, but here's a sampling:

Isn't she gorgeous?

Time to get in the water...did I mention it was cold!

They also brought their adorable dog Lola along for some pictures...

Why exactly are we in the water?
